The Journey of UCC Thailand

The journey began in 2001 when Mr. Natthanadet Kamonchan, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the food industry, founded K2 Co., Ltd. with a clear vision: to elevate Thailand’s coffee industry to global standards. The company focused on importing and distributing premium coffee beans and brewing equipment, while also launching professional coffee business training courses for aspiring café owners—guided by the philosophy: “Trusted partner, true friendship, and joyful business.”

Driven by innovation, in 2015, K2 expanded by establishing a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and packaging facility, equipped with advanced eco-friendly roasting technology recognized by coffee experts worldwide.

In 2018, K2 formed a strategic partnership with UCC Ueshima Coffee Company, a global coffee leader. This collaboration empowered us to become a full-service Total Coffee Solution provider—offering not just high-quality products but also professional coffee services, equipment maintenance, and barista training, all designed to drive success in the coffee business.

the Company

In 2001, Mr. Thanadet Kamonchan, a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the food industry, founded K2 Co., Ltd. with a clear mission: to elevate Thailand’s coffee industry to international standards.

With a passion for coffee and a vision for the future, K2 began importing and distributing premium coffee beans and brewing equipment, while also offering professional training programs for those aspiring to start their own coffee businesses.

Guided by the philosophy “Your Coffee Partner, Growing Together with Joy”, K2 has been empowering coffee entrepreneurs across Thailand through total coffee business solutions — from sourcing to brewing, and from equipment to education.

2004

Pioneering the
Barista Community

In 2004, K2 proudly became one of the founding members of the Thailand Barista Association, playing a key role in nurturing the growth of the barista community in Thailand. We actively supported seven national-level barista competitions, helping elevate the standards of Thai coffee professionals to a new level.

That same year, we launched our own roasted coffee bean brands — Nex and Paradiso — offering high-quality, locally roasted beans tailored for both professional use and coffee enthusiasts. This marked our first step as a Thai coffee roaster brand dedicated to quality and innovation in every cup.

2009

One-Stop
Coffee Shop Service

We launched a retail coffee store offering premium coffee beans and professional brewing equipment, along with expert after-sales support — including machine maintenance and repair — by our in-house team of skilled technicians.

Co-Founder of the
ASEAN Coffee

We became one of the founding members of the ASEAN Coffee Federation (ACF), helping to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable growth within the Southeast Asian coffee industry.
